Brooks Cutsforth is a seasoned property developer, entrepreneur, and community-oriented business leader with more than 30 years of experience across retail, construction, and commercial property development. Based in Canby, Oregon, Brooks grew up in his family’s business, Cutsforth Marketplace, where he later served as co-owner and property manager. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Near Eastern Religion from Willamette University, he acquired his first business, launching a career rooted in innovation, stewardship, and proactive leadership.

Brooks has played a meaningful role in Canby’s economic growth—partnering with the City on initiatives including the community’s first movie theater, the Canby Library and city offices, and downtown revitalization through the Urban Renewal District. Equally committed to service, he has served on the board of The Canby Center since 2019, chairing its Building Committee and contributing to Finance and Replication initiatives.

Recognized for his strategic insight, community investment, and people-first approach, Brooks continues to support the success of individuals, businesses, and the broader Canby community.

Brooks likes reading, cooking, and all things baseball and Porsche. He also has a passion for music and fly fishing in Montana. When Brooks is not working, he is raising a young family with his lovely wife.
